Hundreds of thousands in San Diego face food insecurity, but DSA is working to change that. With our predictive dashboard, we’ve united the county’s largest hunger relief organizations, Feeding San Diego and Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank—a tangible example of Responsible Data Science making a powerful, positive impact.

We’re creating a video game platform that educates and increases awareness of the profound impact Responsible Data Science can have on our society. At the intersection of education and entertainment, we envision this game being used to inspire and teach future generations of data scientists and enthusiasts.

In partnership with the UC San Diego Joan & Irwin Jacobs Center for Health Innovation, we're pioneering a data-driven initiative to improve surgical operations by optimizing surgery preference cards, aiming to enhance patient safety and reduce operational inefficiencies. This collaboration represents a leap in using Responsible Data Science to generate a positive impact on the UCSD health system.

We make Responsible Data Science attainable by helping others apply it to their own work. Our framework is a practical tool that guides organizations and data professionals through key considerations and steps to take in finding the most ethical outcomes possible.

We are thrilled to work with a globally renowned nonprofit zoo on a new data project to optimize its fundraising efforts and operations.
